WHO IS ALEXIS ROBINSON
Alexis Robinson was a vibrant, 17-year-old high school senior, with the promise of a bright future when, just weeks before her high school graduation, her life was violently taken away by a drunk driver.
As captain of her volleyball team, she had an unrivaled spirit that soared beyond the complexities of high school life.
She was a little and big sister as the middle child. She was a daughter too, Joan Robinson and Reginald Baliey , she was also the bonus daughter of Antonio Akins. She was an aunt , friend, a cousin, and a niece. Her spirit was one of love and playfulness. She was a dynamic leader in her own rights. Alexis was a powerful individual that forged her own path.
Today, that same spirit is alive and thriving through the T-Soar foundation.
About T-SOAR
Our History
The Spirit of Alexis Robinson (T-SOAR) was established in 2023 as a charitable organization. The inception of this organization is the brainchild of her mother, Joan Robinson. The Spirit of Alexis Robinson is dedicated to molding the futures of high school students through a variety of impactful and empowering initiatives. Unlike traditional educational programs, T-SOAR stands out by offering a holistic approach to student development, ensuring they are not just academically prepared for college, but also equipped with the life skills and mentorship needed to navigate the complexities of the society and the modern world.
TSOAR has a comprehensive suite of services including college preparation, mentorship programs, and personal development workshops. T-SOAR aims to bridge the gap between secondary education and higher education, while simultaneously instilling a powerful sense of purpose and direction in our new young adults. TSOAR programs are designed to foster leadership, critical thinking, and a deep sense of community engagement amongst students.
T-SOAR desired outcome is for our future leaders of tomorrow to emerge as well-rounded young adults ready to make a positive impact in their future endeavors.
At its core T-SOAR is driven by a mission to unlock the potential within each student, guiding them through the transformative journey from adolescence to adulthood with confidence, compassion, and a readiness to face the challenges of tomorrow.
